What is Centralizer?

In Oil and Gas Industry, centralizer is an important device which helps in keeping the casing in the center of wellbore during cementing operation. Centralizer ensures that cement sheath would be placed in an accurate and efficient way so that there will be no contact between the casing and the formation resulting into a perfect seal. There are various types and designs of centralizers available in the market. Being the largest centralizer manufacturer, we supply all types and designs of centralizers. Furthermore, there are other accessories like stop collars, which sometimes unified with the centralizer, whereas, other times don’t. We deal all such centralizer’s ancillary parts.

Bow Centralizers

Centralization is always a critical step in cementing process as doing it improperly can cause serious problems in the cementing. So, one has to make sure that this step is executed perfectly during the process. Most suitable tools must be used to keep casing in the center. Bow centralizers are considered best products in keeping the casing in the center of the wellbore (i.e. giving more than67% standoff) during the cementing process. Thus, bow centralizer models help in uniform distribution of cement in the area around the casing. Further, bow centralizers ensure that there would be a less casing drag on the wellbore at the time of running and reciprocation operation of the casing. Bow centralizer also helps in removal of filter cake in the wellbore by increasing the turbulence in the fluid. We provide comprehensive bow centralizer solutions. Non Weld Spring Bow Centralizer Model S10 Eneroil's Non Weld Bow Centralizers are high quality, developed to exceed API 10 D specifications. The Non Weld Bow Centralizers combine the highest Non Weld Centralizer restoring force with the lowest starting force. Premium quality Bows made of special alloy steel with uniform hardness provides optimum performance. The bows with extended profile prevent them from hitting against casing collars. The bows are available in a range to accommodate any well profile. Quality steel and non weld design ensure extra strong grip while integral hinges folded on the inside are connected by high strength locking pin for maximum structural robustness. Non weld bow centralizers are used to position the casing in the centre of the wellbore in vertical, deviated as well as horizontal wells. The non weld bow centralizers reduce the effect of channeling by improving cement flow. This results in a more uniform thickness between the casing and the wellbore. By reducing the pipe movement before the cement sets in, the centralizers are able to minimize gas channeling. The centralizers provide a semi rigid casing standoff.

Non weld design features self locking of lips for holding bows to end collars. Bows of special alloy steel are hot formed and tempered for optimum strength, resilience and uniformity.. Installation of Non weld Bow Centralizers on the casing pipe is very convenient,It requires only the placement of the two assembled halves on the pipe and inserting the pin in the end collar hinge. The centralizer when unassembled makes a compact package, greatly reducing shipping cost. Assembly at site is conveniently done.

Single piece Spring Bow Centralizer Model S12

Single piece Spring Bow Centralizer Model S12Eneroil offshore has developed its Single piece Bow Centralizer (S12) model to perform satisfactorily in Open hole as well as Cased hole. These are high quality product, developed to meet and exceed API10 D specifications for use in highly demanding downhole conditions.

Eneroil's Single piece Glider Centralizer (S12) combines the highest restoring force with zero starting force and zero running force. S12 centralizer is used to position the casing in the centre of the wellbore in vertical deviated and horizontal wells. S12 Centralizers reduce the effect of channelling by improving the cement flow, this results in more uniform cement thickness in the well bore. By reducing the pipe movement before Cement sets in. S12 centralizers are able to minimize gas channelling. S12 centralizers are one piece construction in special high strength Steel which imparts excellent hardness and spring action ensuring an unmatched ability to come back to its original shape after undergoing rigorous stress loads conditions.

The centralizers have high restoring force which provides optimum standoff and low moving force to minimize drag. They meet or exceed API 10D specifications.

The centralizers allow free rotation of the pipe for maximum displacement efficiency. The stop collar between the end collars minimises moving forces while reciprocating. The sizes available are 4½" x 6" and 7" x 8½".
